My Story.
I am an American-Turkish multimedia artist; practicing Transcendental Surrealism in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Born and raised in Turkiye (1968), matured in the USA.
I studied Graphic Design (4yrs) and Classical Drawing Techniques (1yr sculpture department) Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul, Turkiye. (Est.1882)
Worked at Graphic Design, Special Effects, Film Production, Culinary Arts and as an entrepreneur I owned an Interior Decoration Boutique in LA for many years.
While working in the fields of the great Arts, I passionately wondered in the fields of Consciousness!
The Art of The Creator!.
The more my awareness expanded, the more my curiosities got liberated by the world’s events; both historical and present, the Seen! and the Unseen!.
In the second spring of my life, I decided to dedicate myself fully to creating art.
My artwork reflects and is highly influenced by the soul journey, spirituality, theology , nature, socio politics, mythology, history, science, space, disasters, paranormal and etc: LIFE!
I paint intuitively in a meditative state. Daily issues and events (global and personal) that are lingering in my mind and heart at the moment are drawn on the paper without sketches or preparation; forming visual stories. I'm still Painting by hand not AI !
The medium is chosen to tell and deliver the best visual story to spark a curiosity. A call to a heart!. The colors I use reflect how I see and envision the world. Even though I studied classical drawing techniques at the academy, I choose to draw minimalistic to bring and keep the attention to the overall story.
I immerse myself in my artwork with the intention of expansion of the senses, bringing curiosity, adventure, joy and healing,. My intention is to make it a conversation piece to bring people together and explore.
Each one is like a puzzle tells a story. Dive in to it to discover it's story.
